2-2.5 Tons Li-ion Powered Counterbalanced Forklifts

BEIJING – China's forklift manufacturers are accelerating their global expansion, with growing market shares across logistics, manufacturing and port operation industries worldwide as the industry shifts toward green and intelligent solutions.

According to latest industry data, China's forklift exports exceeded 230,000 units in the first five months of 2026, jumping 16.8% year-on-year. Electric-powered models now account for more than 77% of total exports, with lithium-battery powered forklifts standing out as the fastest-growing segment. Chinese brands have captured 35% of the global forklift market, and have taken leading positions in 34 overseas markets, especially in Southeast Asia, Europe and Latin America.

In Europe, Chinese forklift providers have helped local logistics giants complete "diesel-to-electric" fleet transformation, cutting annual operational costs by over 7,000 pounds per unit for large building material retailers. In Latin America, Chinese heavy-duty and electric counterbalance forklifts have won wide recognition for their durability and cost-effectiveness, with sales of leading brands growing tenfold since 2020. Driven by growing cross-border trade and cold chain demand, Chinese lithium forklifts with excellent low-temperature adaptability also saw soaring demand in the Russian market, with exports projected to jump 40-60% by 2027.

Leading Chinese manufacturers have built localized production bases, R&D centers and 4-hour response after-sales networks in over 50 countries, laying a solid foundation for further global growth.
